About United Staging

OUR VISION

An industry where safety is prioritized and creativity thrives.

OUR HISTORY

United Staging & Rigging was established in 1986 to fulfill New York City’s need for a reliable, local source of entertainment staging and rigging products and services. In 1999, we expanded, opening a facility in Boston to serve the greater New England area.

We’ve continued to grow and, in 2015, we created our own line of UNI products, designed specifically to better serve the entertainment industry’s needs. First came our UNI-Dec stage decking with specialized extrusions for customized attachments. Next came our patented UNI-Bloc ballast system in 2017, followed shortly by our UNI-Keder system in 2019.

In 2022, we made UNI-Bloc Jr., a smaller UNI-Bloc for the times you need less weight and a smaller footprint with all of the versatility of the original.

We provide staging and rigging services and equipment throughout the USA for all types of live events, tv, and film. In 2020, we proudly completed our first international project in Managua, Nicaragua, building on the side of a live volcano for a tv event.

We continue to grow and innovate. We provide top-quality products and services, along with highly skilled and continuously trained industry experts. If you need staging and rigging equipment, production rigging services, project management, or have ideas you want brought to life, head to our contact page to get in touch.

We look forward to making your creative event ideas a reality.

Fun fact - his wife specifically asked for us to update his photo to this because she likes his haircut (she thinks it looks better than his previous image). We were not going to deny his wife's request. lol.
