SITE SUPERVISOR

Bridgeport, CT

We are hiring immediately for a Site Supervisor for our Bridgeport, CT location.

You must be able to work as a CT/NYC local and with office hours in our Bridgeport, CT office.

Base pay for entry-level Site Supervisor starts at $22/h and increases with experience.
With travel and overtime, full-time Site Supervisors typically earn anywhere between $50-100K/year.

As a Site Supervisor, you will manage labor teams to complete stage and structure builds safely and on time. You’ll lead various staging and rigging projects on-site and work closely with other vendors, including lighting, audio, video, and scenic.

This role is open to both entry-level and experienced stage builders, riggers, and site leads.

    • An OSHA 30 certification will be required within 3 months of employment.
    • A good attitude and the ability to stay calm and professional in a variety of situations is key.
    • This is a client-facing role.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• • • Supervising and leading local crews for large-scale rigging and stage-building projects
    • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations
    • Coordinating with clients and adapting to changes efficiently and safely
    • Working with other vendors (lighting, sound, video, scenic) to make sure their products are hung safely
    • Availability to work late nights, early mornings, and weekends as necessary
    • Reliable transportation
    • Ability to work as a local in CT/NYC
    • Ability to travel to other locations as a non-local (travel and provisions outlined in employee handbook)
    • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience:

• • • Rigging and stage-building experience is a must
    • Ability to read and follow plots
    • Commitment to site safety above all else
    • OSHA30 – have or obtain within 3 months
    • Quick problem-solving skills
    • Be able to lift 50 lbs throughout the day
    • Be of good character, work ethic, and a self-starter
    • Ability to receive direction from management and work well with crew, coworkers, and outside vendors
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent

This position is open to both entry-level and experienced workers.

Experience managing crews for staging, rigging, and structure builds is a bonus, but not required. We will provide on-the-job training.

Hours:

Standard CT office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM. However, as this position requires working times outside of these hours – including nights, weekends, holidays, and early mornings – some scheduling flexibility is given.
