FCSS works with employers to provide the correct and most up-to-date employee training, including Fall Protection/Equipment Inspections, and SPRAT/Rope Access. Also check your local area for SPRAT and FallPro classes.
The American Red Cross holds multiple first aid, CPR, and AED training classes throughout the USA on a regular basis. Click the link to search classes by location and type.
Event Safety Alliance (ESA) provides online, on-demand Event Access Safety Training and Pathogen Prepared Professional Training. They also hold other training events throughout the year.
Many companies offer online and in-person OSHA 10 & 30 classes. The OSHA website has a list of reputable classes, as well as information on becoming an OSHA trainer. If you are in a union, check with them first as they may provide free training to members. Also consult your employer and local requirements, as different states and job positions can require different OSHA certifications.
H&E, Sunbelt, United Rentals, and Ahern are a few well-known companies to find MEWP and forklift certifications.
However, many local companies provide in-person and online courses. Find them by googling the certification and your location.
This is a short list of the most common certifications and an even shorter list of training companies. CDL, hot works, SCUBA, rescue, electrician, welding, project management – the list of skills that benefit you and your coworkers is unending. Check your local library, community college, adult-ed, and online for upcoming classes and certifications.
